Buckinghamshire Urgent Care

We work with a number of NHS partners across Buckinghamshire to ensure we are providing joined up care to our patients.

These include:

Aylesbury Vale Clinical Commissioning Group – (Aylesbury Vale CCG) consists of 21 GP practices in Princes Risborough, Thame, Aylesbury, Buckingham and across North Buckinghamshire, serving a population of over 200,000. From April 2013 NHS Aylesbury Vale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is the organisation responsible for deciding how around £200m of taxpayers’ money is spent on healthcare for Buckinghamshire people.

Chiltern Clinical Commissioning Group – (Chiltern CCG) is a group of 34 GP practices in Amersham, Wycombe, and across South Buckinghamshire, serving a population of over 320,000. The vision for Chiltern CCG can be summarised as, “a healthy future together”. This means working with local patients, NHS Buckinghamshire, our hospital colleagues and other professionals to ensure that health care services provided are of the best possible quality and value.

Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust – the main secondary care provider in Buckinghamshire with a large general hospital including A&E at Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury and smaller hospital sites in High Wycombe and Amersham. The Trust also runs four community hospitals across the county, three of whom have in-patient facilities.

Wexham Park Hospitals Trust – provides secondary care to practices in the south-east of the county.

South Central Ambulance Trust – provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance services in Buckinghamshire. Currently also provides the NHS 111 service.
